20 Aug 2019 : Travel with the team to long distance away games
Changes to the geographical split in the BetVictor Northern Premier League at Step 4 means increased travelling distance to our away games in the new North West Division One this season.
This necessitates a number of coach trips for the team.
The Runcorn Linnets Football Supporters Group (RLFSG) have offered to organise travel on our behalf and at the same time offer seats on the players and officials' coach to supporters.
Seats will be allocated in the following order of preference:
1 Club players, management, staff and officials
2 RLFSG members (membership is available)
3 Supporters
All club officials and fans will pay for their seats through a Travel Club to offset the cost of coach hire.
Prices have now been revised from those originally set to make travel more affordable.
At present, coach travel will be limited to trips to Yorkshire and The North East plus the two longest journeys on this side of the Pennines (to Kendal and Workington).
But there is scope to organise coach travel to cup-ties if required.
The departure times have been set to ensure that our players reach the opposition ground 90 minutes before kick off with a half hour stop off on the way.
There will obviously be a delay in making the return journey so players can get changed and partake in the post-match refreshments provided by the host club.
Information is available on the RLFCSG website and twitter feed (@RLFCSG).
There is an online booking form at https://www.rlfcsg.co.uk/travel-club-booking-form
If anyone would like to book on the coach but doesn't wish to use the online booking form, you can direct message RLFCSG on twitter, email runcornlinnetssg@outlook.com or speak to one of the RLFCSG committee at any game (at home matches they can generally be found in the SoccerMillion Stand) and they will be only too happy to help and take the booking.
Prices and departure times are shown.
Please note that our visit to Ossett United has now been rearranged for Tuesday, October 1st and travel details will be updated in due course.
