18 Mar 2017 : New 2017-19 home shirt revealed and available to pre-order NOW

Runcorn Linnets are delighted to unveil our first team and Ladies team home kit for 2017-19

This sees the continuation of our excellent partnership with Macron Store Cheshire, whose retail showroom is in Beeston Court, Manor Park, Runcorn.

Macron Store Cheshire last season produced our 10th anniversary away kit and fans-only 3rd kit while also opening an online club shop, selling replica shirts and an exclusive range of official club merchandise.

The new first-choice kit is in our traditional colours of yellow and green and again comes in the hooped design, which has become our trademark since being chosen by supporters for our return to Runcorn in 2010 with the opening of The Millbank Linnets Stadium.

The front of the shirt includes the name of our loyal and long-standing main club sponsors, Millbank, who have now been associated with the club for seven years and have been outstanding supporters of the Linnets.

Millbank Holdings, based at Northway, near Runcorn Shopping Centre, offer world-class solutions in specialist recruitment across a range of industries and professions.

We also have a new but very familiar back-of-shirt sponsor, Grangeside of Runcorn and our thanks again go to proprietor Alan Mercer, who is a regular and fervent fan home and away.

Car servicing, MOT and breadown recovery specialists, Weston Road company Grangeside's valued backing of the Linnets dates back to the days of the former club.

The new shirt will be tailored in exactly the same style as our popular orange/black kit, which will continue to be our change kit next season, and the equally well-received non-playing gun metal/neon playing jerseys.

The shirts are being specially made in Italy, at Macron's manufacturing HQ, for Runcorn Linnets and consequently, there is an expected delivery time for replicas of eight weeks.

However, our supporters can now PRE-ORDER the new home outfield shirt - to be accompanied by green shorts and yellow socks - through our online Macron club shop.

Prices are as follows:

2017-19 home shirt (outfield): Senior £37.50, Junior £32.50.

Full 2017-19 home kit (outfield): Senior £55, Junior £42.50.

2017-19 goalkeeper shirt: Senior £22, Junior £17.50.

Full 2017-19 goalkeeper kit: Senior £40, Junior £35.

Ordering in advance will ensure you are kitted out for the start of next season, when our new home kit - featurng the official club crest and distinctive Macron branding - will be worn for the first time.

The new goalkeeping kit is available to order immediately and the purple 'keeper shirt is sure to be popular in its own right.

Italian sizes are generally smaller than in the UK and, as with the orange and gun metal shirts plus other Linnets clothing available online in our Macron club shop, supporters are advised to choose one size bigger than normal when buying the new home kit.

Club chairman, Mark Buckley said: 'As many fans will be aware, we issue kits on a two-year cycle.

'Over the last few months, the club has discussed the new kit at length and explored various ideas and options with Macron, who have once been a great help to us and supported and advised us every step of the way.

'While working on a design, we also consulted fully with our senior management teams and junior section who have more than 30 teams, all wearing our distinctive yellow and green hoops.

'The hooped kit has now become synonymous with Runcorn Linnets all over town and an important part of our brand.

'Our players have really enjoyed playing in our orange and black Macron away kit and I know that our fans have also felt comfortable wearing the replica shirts and the equally-stylish merchandise that Macron have provided.'

Mike Davies, owner of Macron Store Cheshire, said: 'The unveiling of the new home kit for the senior teams is another big step forward in our relationship with Runcorn Linnets.

'We have had some terrific feedback from supporters regarding the kits we produced for the club last season.

'When it came to the new bespoke home shirt, Linnets management and players were keen for the shirt to be designed in the style of its orange and gun metal predecessors but obviously in the club's now instantly recognisable yellow and green hoops.

'We hope everyone will be suitably pleased with the final product and will place their orders now so they can take delivery of this attractive shirt, exclusive to Runcorn Linnets FC, well in time for the new season.'
