Welcome

Welcome to the official website of Runcorn Linnets FC.

We are a registered society under the Co-operative and Community Benefit Societies Act 2014 and were formed in the 2006 off-season by the fans of the now defunct Runcorn FC (which was playing under the name "Runcorn FC Halton" at the time). Although when we formed we were technically a "new" club, the Linnets were given special dispensation by the FA to be treated as a reformed version of Runcorn FC - the special dispensation was necessary as the old club had simply become dormant, choosing not to field a team, as opposed to ceasing to exist as a legal entity.

We currently play in the Hallmark Security Football League (North West Counties Football League), and were awarded Charter Standard in October 2011.

Free admission to extra home pre-season friendly on Tuesday, July 25th

We have arranged a friendly against Eagle Sports this Tuesday, July 25th at The Millbank Linnets Stadium, ko 7.45pm - with entry being free.

Admission will then revert to the customary pre-season £4 (adults) and £2 (concessions) for our final home warm-up game against Skelmersdale United on Saturday, July 29th (ko 3pm).

Four free matches make Runcorn Linnets season tickets even better value

Season tickets for 2017-18 are now available to purchase.

The prices are unchanged at £108 for adults and £72 concessions - they are even better value this coming season as 22 home league games will be scheduled, instead of the usual 21, with the inclusion of Northwich Victoria in the Hallmark Security League Premier Division as a 23rd team.

This now means season ticket holders will receive four free matches instead of the usual three.

Normal match day admission prices at the turnstile will once again be £6 for adults and £4 concessions. Buying a season ticket means useful 'up front' income for your club.

For full details about how to obtain a season ticket through on line purchase or by postal application, please visit the Season Ticket Page.
