Welcome

Welcome to the official website of Runcorn Linnets FC.

We are a registered society under the Co-operative and Community Benefit Societies Act 2014 and were formed in the 2006 off-season by the fans of the now defunct Runcorn FC (which was playing under the name "Runcorn FC Halton" at the time). Although when we formed we were technically a "new" club, the Linnets were given special dispensation by the FA to be treated as a reformed version of Runcorn FC - the special dispensation was necessary as the old club had simply become dormant, choosing not to field a team, as opposed to ceasing to exist as a legal entity.

We currently play in the Hallmark Security Football League (North West Counties Football League), and were awarded Charter Standard in October 2011.

New 2017 Home Kit Launched

Volunteer working parties at The Millbank arranged for two weekends in June

The club has announced dates for our annual summer working parties to ensure that the ground is looking its best for the launch of the 2017-18 campaign.

These will take place over two weekends, Saturdays and Sundays, June 3-4 and 24-25 - starting at 10am on all four days.

No matter how much time and effort you can devote to the general clean and tidy-up, we'll be very pleased to see you and very grateful for all help.

Please bring along anything which you think might come in useful - such as power washers, paint brushes, sweeping brushes, hedge pruners, garden spades and tool boxes but most importantly remember to bring yourselves!

Admission prices set for home pre-season friendlies

Entry to our home pre-season friendies ahead of the 2017-18 season will be £4 for adults and £2 concessions with accompanied juniors being admitted free.
