With the 2019-20 pre-season signing of Ryan Wade, Runcorn Linnets manager Michael Elllison added Europa League experience to his squad.
Ryan's most recent continental excursion was win 2017-18 with Bala Town when they qualified for UEFA's second biggest club tournament as Welsh Cup winners.
Known within the game by his nickname 'Keyo', he was a sub in both legs of Bala's first qualifying round tie, coming on for the last half hour of the second leg against FC Viduz to take his European appearances to seven (two starts and five off the bench).
A 3-0 defeat in Liechtenstein† condemned the Lakesiders to a 5-1 aggregate defeat.
Four successful domestic seasons at Airbus UK Broughton had seen Ryan make his six previous Europa League outings between 2013-2015 against opposition from Latvia (FK Ventspils), Norway (FK Haugesund) and Croatia (Lokomotiva Zagreb).
The now 31-year-old Liverpudlian joined us from Llandudno.
He has also played for Aberystwyth Town, transferring from Bala in September 2017.
In 2016-17, Ryan signed for Bangor City but left without ever playing for them.
He joined Llandudno in January of this year after starting last season in the top division of the Northern Premier League with Marine.
Ryan, also formerly at Northwich Victoria, Skelmersdale, Burscough, Vauxhall Motors, Runcorn Town and Prescot Cables, operates in support of the front players or out wide.
