Welcome

Welcome to the official website of Runcorn Linnets FC.

We are members of the EVO-STIK League (Northern Premier League). We joined for 2018-19 as Premier Division champions of the Hallmark Security League (North West Counties Football League).

We gained promotion to the EVO-STIK League West Division on our 12th Birthday (28th April 2018) by securing the minimum of a second place finish in the Hallmark Security League's top flight. We went on to finish four points clear.

We are a registered society under the Co-operative and Community Benefit Societies Act 2014 and were formed in the 2006 off-season by the fans of the now defunct Runcorn FC (which was playing under the name "Runcorn FC Halton" at the time). Although when we formed we were technically a "new" club, the Linnets were given special dispensation by the FA to be treated as a reformed version of Runcorn FC - the special dispensation was necessary as the old club had simply become dormant, choosing not to field a team, as opposed to ceasing to exist as a legal entity. We were awarded FA Charter Standard in October 2011.

All annual Trust memberships ran out on August 31st and became due for renewal on September 1st. Thank you to those who have renewed so far.

Subscription fees are once again unchanged but there is now a requirement for ALL applicants - whether existing, lapsed or new members - to complete the membership application form.

This is to satisfy the GDPR legislation relating to data protection, which requires members to consent to the way their details are stored and used in accordance with our club Privacy Policy. This can be viewed here.

A copy of this policy is also on the noticeboard in the clubhouse.

Membership applications can only be made individually with the exception of those for family membership (two adults and two under 16s in the same family).

Parents/guardians can of course enrol one child individually or as part of a family membership and additional children can be added to a family membership for an extra 3 each.

Personal payment is required with all applications either by cash, cheque or online at the Payment Page. Those paying subscription on line can email their completed application form to trust@RuncornLinnetsFC.co.uk.

Both adults involved in a family membership application are required to sign the application form for themselves and on behalf of their children.

Full details about the Trust are available on the Trust Page from where the updated Trust Membership application form can be downloaded for printing and completion.
