Louis Corrigan received a Yellow Card for The Linnets in the 53rd minute. In the 56th minute from a lovely tap from close range Connor McCarthy put us a further goal clear. In the 63rd minute the Linnets substituted Jordan Wynne for Kyle Hamid. In the 75th minute the Linnets substituted Kurt Sherlock for Ryan Gibson. In the 75th minute the Linnets substituted Connor McCarthy for Jamie Rainford. Jamie Rainford extended our lead in the 78th minute with a coolly taken shot from inside the area. In the 82nd minute the Linnets were awarded a penalty for handball. Following a well-struck penalty Louis Corrigan put us four goals clear in the 82nd minute. In the 83rd minute Kendal Town substituted Daniel Ashton for Brett Fitzsimons.

Runcorn Linnets' Player of the Year in their championship-winning campaign has agreed to return to the club as manager Michael Ellison looks to improve his team's defensive fortunes.
