Welcome to the official website of Runcorn Linnets FC.

We are members of the EVO-STIK League (Northern Premier League). We joined for 2018-19 as Premier Division champions of the Hallmark Security League (North West Counties Football League).

We gained promotion to the EVO-STIK League West Division on our 12th Birthday (28th April 2018) by securing the minimum of a second place finish in the Hallmark Security League's top flight. We went on to finish four points clear.

We are a registered society under the Co-operative and Community Benefit Societies Act 2014 and were formed in the 2006 off-season by the fans of the now defunct Runcorn FC (which was playing under the name "Runcorn FC Halton" at the time). Although when we formed we were technically a "new" club, the Linnets were given special dispensation by the FA to be treated as a reformed version of Runcorn FC - the special dispensation was necessary as the old club had simply become dormant, choosing not to field a team, as opposed to ceasing to exist as a legal entity. We were awarded FA Charter Standard in October 2011.

City of Liverpool to visit for extra friendly

We can confirm another home game has been added to our pre-season programme.

We look forward to again welcoming City of Liverpool, who will visit on Tuesday, July 24th.

Question and answer session with management team on Saturday, July 14th

We will be holding a managerial question and answer session in the clubhouse at 6pm on Saturday, July 14th - after the home friendly against Chester.

Fans are invited to come along to discuss the season ahead with Ello and his management team.

Date set for Supporters Club AGM

Runcorn Football Supporters Club's Annual General Meeting will be held at the War Memorial Club on Wednesday, 25th July 2018 (7.30 pm).

Nominations for the Committee must reach the secretary, Mrs Susan Bell, 18 Croasdale Drive, Beechwood, Runcorn, WA7 2RJ, by Wednesday 11th July. 2018.

For those wishing to subscribe to our Patrons Fund through a regular donation, a Standing Order Form is now available for download on our
Patron's Fund page.

The scheme has been launched to help Michael Ellison and the management team with squad building - supplementing the increased playing budget set by the Trust Board for the 2018-19 season.
